Last August saw the 20th anniversary of a controversial and sensational piece of film footage that was broadcast on national TV around the world, showing what appeared to be the autopsy of an extra-terrestrial. Ray Santilli was the businessman who claimed he came across the footage and its cameraman while looking for old Rock and Roll film in Cleveland, Ohio in 1992.

But in 2006 the story changed, fuelled by a Sky TV documentary and the comedy movie starring Ant and Dec – the claim was now that it was a recreation or ‘restoration’!  Things became cloudier still when a year later a filmmaker and magician called Spyros Melaris claimed he was the mastermind behind it and that there never was any original footage. It was all a giant hoax!

With some still saying the film is real, and others condemning it as fraud, what are the real facts behind this case and is there evidence of a larger conspiracy..?

In addition to Colin's talk, BUFOG Chairman Dave (amongst the first to see the autopsy footage when it first went public) will give his thoughts on the film as well as the usual latest UFO related news. There will be a raffle and time to have a good chat too. Should be a great night!

Colin Woolford:

‘I am a UFO researcher of some 26 years and have just returned from my seventh consecutive international UFO conference in Phoenix, Arizona.  I have spent many years working for an international airline and am currently based at Heathrow.  I have previously given talks about the UFO/crop circle phenomenon and its connection to music and movies, my current talk is on the Alien Autopsy.  I am on Facebook as part of the team behind and The Bases Project and, as of May last year, I formed my own FB group called Alien Autopsy Analysis, where I can be contacted.’
