Last year we headed out to Clee Hill in Ludlow for a sky watch. Unfortunately for us, it was the foggiest sky watch to date, with near zero visibility! While it made for a very spooky experience, it was impossible to actually see the sky (or anything else for that matter). So we figured it's time to try again!

On the evening of Saturday 11th November we will be returning to Clee Hill in the hopes of a less foggy sky watch. And providing the weather is this time on our side, the area should provide a stunning view of the night sky in all directions.

Like last time we will initially meet up at The Crown Inn at Hopton Wafers between 8-9pm. The pub lies approximately 2 miles East of the sky watch location and has a free car park. After a natter and a drink we will head on out in convoy to Clee Hill at around 9.30pm.

Thre is a conveniently-placed public car park at Clee Hill Plant which is free to use. It's then a short walk to the summit of the hill. BUFOG's Chairman Dave will be bringing along some snacks for everyone to share, you are more than welcome to bring more. Weather permitting we will remain on the hill till the early hours. There is no set end time and you are free to head home at whatever time you wish.

It is recommended you bring with you warm/waterproof clothing, a torch, camera/binoculars if you have them, and food/drinks. You are welcome to bring a BBQ with hot food. Bonfires and fireworks are not permitted due to local law enforcement.

Everyone is welcome to attend, not just official group members or those who regularly attend our meetings. Children and animals also welcome. So if you know anyone who would be up for a bit of UFO spotting be sure to let them know!
